This is an interactive version of the window display now installed at Quimby's in Chicago. I have to warn you that it takes a bit of time to load all the images, but once everything is ready, just drag your cursor over the picture above to see what all the tiles look like. Each tile is hand-painted. Then all tiles are sewn together to form the 60-image display.
If you can't make it out to Quimby's, look at some of the photos below. If you're in Chicago, head over to 1854 W. North Avenue. The whole thing looks much better at its actual size--10 feet by 6 feet.
